I would like to introduce myself and outline my experience, education, and qualifications as a Fire/Arson Investigator. I believe my 22 years of experience in law enforcement, 20 of which was with the Pennsylvania State Police, 13 of those years were as a Fire Investigator in the Fire Marshal Unit, qualifies me as a valuable resource that can be utilized for all types of fire loss investigations. I have provided expert testimony regarding the origin & cause of fires 25+ times in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania courtrooms as well as civil depositions. I have developed a solid reputation as a subject matter expert in the area of Fire/Arson Investigation. I am currently a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) through the International Association of Arson Investigators and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I have attended over 1500 hours of fire investigation related training. I have also participated in the development of, and taught numerous fire related courses for ATF and NFA. My abilities as a Fire Investigator begin with the demonstrated skill for situational analysis and thorough fire scene investigations. I will provide for you a skill set, which ensures maximization of investigatory objectives, coupled with progressive thinking, decisive execution and attention to detail. Focusing on investigation accuracy is my core value, one that I bring to every project which I work. I also have interpersonal skills necessary to foster an environment of cooperation and teamwork. I am well organized and an analytical thinker who welcomes innovative and numerous challenges.
