My responsibilities as the Assistant to the Operations Manager were:• HR responsibilities and personnel management; including training programmes, attendance, TOIL, sickness absence • Resource management including staff / vehicles to meet contract KPIs.• Asset management including portable assets and keys • IT systems management including data cleaning, troubleshooting• Customer relationship management, memberships, mail shots, complaints

My role within two different Sainsbury's stores involved interacting with both customers and colleagues in a professional and warming manner. As well as this high standard of customer service I also obtained skills in other areas within the store. My role involved: stock control, money handling, dealing with customer enquiries, team working, time-management control and self-management techniques.Whilst working at J Sainsbury’s plc I received a ‘gold star award’ for my customer service on several occasions. This was for our Mystery Customer Measure checks; in which the workers are tested on their interaction skills with customers, I obtained full marks.
