The foundation of his success is his focus on a shared vision, operations and business strategy alignment, and innovative solutions that create sustained growth and long-term resilience.During his tenure with Mylan Pharmaceuticals David served in a variety of executive leadership roles. AS THE HEAD OF SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS FOR OTC AND BRANDS, he established the global R&D organization following the acquisition of Abbot and Meda. In addition, he successfully integrated the best staff and practices from the new organizations into Mylan. AS THE VP OF GLOBAL PACKAGING OPERATIONS, David launched a new function to support the operations increasing flexibility and responsiveness while reducing costs. LEVERAGING EXPERIENCE BUILDING PROFITABLE VENTURES FROM THE GROUND UP, David helped lead an entrepreneurial pharmaceutical start-up to discover and develop new peptide-based therapeutics. The company raised three rounds of venture capital funding from both Danish and International investors, totalling €50M. In seven years, Zealand Pharma grew from six employees to 50 employees, achieving a successful IPO in just 12 years. Throughout his career, David has found solutions to address operational and business challenges.
