Organising the daily packaging and despatch of bulk and trade bags of sand and aggregates, managing a staff of 17 - 11 yard staff and 6 HGV class 1 drivers.Ensuring all daily orders Picked, Packed & despatched to company’s next day delivery service. Running a major robot packing/production line, ensuring a full stock is kept for all major customers, Liaising with sales office on customer’s weekly/monthly product requirements.Managing the company’s health and safety policy to IOSH standards completing risk assessments, method statements, permit’s to work, staff recruitment, new employee and specific site inductions.Management of 6 drivers - tachographs, VOSA working time regulations.Holiday & absence management.Overseeing the day to day maintenance of all vehicles & plant on site.Running depot to a strict budget.Interaction with customers building strong relationships to move forward customer service & satisfaction.Recruitment and training of new members of staff.Achievements within this roleAchieved company site safety award for the first time since site opened in 2003Increased site monthly output from average 1,500 tonnes to highest quota 2,200 tonnes.
