Currently (since 2022), I am a Sr. PM for the Sub Same Day Operational Excellence team focused on launch, manager experience and process improvements directly impacting the sub-same day business line.From 2019 to 2022, I was a Sr. PM for the Central Operations Strategy team, I provide program support and strategy for a centralized global operations center that services the last mile logistics network through remote process execution across 100+ site locations. This centralized team enables ultra-fast delivery performance to worldwide customers through execution of centralized processes supporting both field teams and drivers on road. My scope involves strategic planning, process and business integration, variable headcount P&L planning, infrastructure management, benchmarking, standardization, process improvement, coordination of technology integrations and automation initiatives.

Greater Seattle Area

As a Transportation Operations Manager I oversaw a team of 40+ associates responsible for trailer yard health, accuracy, flow control, trailer supply, arrival and departure times and over the road operations. Through partnership with fulfillment center operations, 3P carriers and supply chain program teams, I implemented and scaled an automated driver check-in system and CDL training program for internal employees while also accelerating the transportation fly wheel by improving speed and reducing both costs and defects.

Through a team of 100+ direct reports I was responsible for ensuring customer orders were picked, packed and shipped in order to meet customer promise. I drove multiple initiatives to improve outbound dock trailer utilization resulting in consolidation of multiple departure lanes and 10% reduction in shipping costs. Effective management practices, collaboration across various stakeholder teams and process improvements throughout the outbound department resulted in a 3% reduction in rolled package DPM and 2% increase in average hourly throughput over a six month period.

As a Logistics Manager overseeing a team of 60+ employees in both food and retail departments, I was responsible for ensuring store inventory was replenished in a timely and accurate manner, resulting in a direct impact on store sales and customer satisfaction. Through automation of employee tools and staffing model optimization I drove a 4% increase in product inventory accuracy which in turn reduced the number of required labor hours and increased in stock product metrics.

As a Operations Manager overseeing a team of 50+ employees, I was responsible for ensuring incoming linehauls (20,000+ shipments) were unloaded, sorted, staged and then loaded on delivery vans prior to dispatch cutoff times. Additionally, I was responsible for ensuring returning delivery vehicles were unloaded, sorted and loaded on linehauls prior to departing to the appropriate downstream distribution center locations. Through streamlining of existing processes, implementation of performance metrics and re-organization of current staffing models, I was able to reduce the total labor hours required to execute daily operational tasks by 10%, resulting in a savings of $50k per year.
