Unit Administrator
Effectively serves as the principal administrator responsible for performance of a variety of technical, analytical, advisory, liaison, and coordinating duties. Represents the Commander Monday thru Friday involving various Agencies. Manages unit publications program by ensuring that timely requests are submitted, properly posted, and/or distributed. Participates in the units planning process by assisting the Commander in the preparation and submission of reports.Manages the development of Soldiers and individual training. Provides hands-on training in unit functional staff areas, as required. Arranges for the acquisition of training aids and materials from support installation or comparable site. Provides detailed advice on mobilization issues. Provides technical guidance and assistance to the unit mobilization officer. Assists in the review of mobilization files. Assists in the implementation of and compliance with unit safety and physical security policies and procedures. Manages personnel, finance, medical and automated systems activities. Manages and provides technical review of completed personnel actions and record management in accordance with regulatory requirements and policies. Reviews personnel and financial management reports and takes corrective action on identified deficiencies. Researches, analyzes, and submits documentation to resolve pay problems and unit personnel. Maintains automated personnel and finance systems to assist in accomplishing timely and accurate submission of data. Performs periodic quality control reviews. Schedules thru AVS medical/dental appointments. Updates data on automated systems.
