As the Head of the agriculture department, I strive to guide our activities and contribute to our shared vision - a sustainable agriculture to feed the Earth's population.This requires delivering excellent products and services, driving innovation in the field of Earth Observation, Artificial intelligence, IoT, leading and guiding our teams' efforts, and believing and sharing in the value of Earth Observation data.Obtained Bachelor and Master Degree in Physics at the LMU Munich in 2009 and 20011 respectively. My main field of interest were at that time Astrophysics and elementary particle Physics. Further developed interest and skills during my PhD time at the University of Innsbruck in the field of Astro-particlephysics. Additionally to the handling of large scale data and gaining a deep knowledge of the scientific field of high energy astrophysics and particle physics, I could also accumulate strong UNIX skills, advanced C/C++ programming skills, a good understanding of Grid computer infrastructure.Since I was involved in teaching on university level at several points in my past, organizational skills, as well as group leading and teaching skills are also part of my capabilities.
