Dave "Fargo" Kosak is a consultant and game developer in Southern California. Prior to forming his own consultancy, Dave was the Creative Director at Deviation Games, where he spent a year on worldbuilding and early design/prototype work for an unannounced triple-A FPS game.Previously he was at Blizzard Entertainment for nearly 12 years, where his roles included Lead Mission Designer and Principle Narrative Designer for the hit PC/Mobile free-to-play online collectable card game "Hearthstone." Prior to founding and building Hearthstone's mission team, he was a creative leader for the enormously successful massively multiplayer game World of Warcraft. His roles on the WoW team included Lead Quest Designer and then Lead Narrative Designer. Prior to his time at Blizzard Dave was one of the original founders of GameSpy, and spent over a decade as a writer and humorist commenting on the games industry. As GameSpy's first creative director, he ushered the company from startup to success.
