Responsible for the management of the Financial Analysis team, ensuring that the research, collection and collation of resource data is modeled, reviewed and validated to update the Army Reserve Training Resource Model for the short-term or long-term financial success of the Army Reserve. Responsibilities:• Refine and maintain the resource models that track projections and actual expenditures for funding the training operation of the Army Reserve.• Responsible for the coordination and recommendation of over 200 resource cost factors for the Army Reserve Training Resource Model. • Develop and coordinate the site visits to the Army Reserve Commands world wide to gather and analyze financial data in order to validate the funding requirements stated in various cost categories for the resource models.• Prepare monthly, mid-year, and annual reports for senior financial executives at the Army Reserve. Achievements:• Developed over $134 million dollars of validated new requirements with the use of the resource models for the Army Reserve.• Supported the Army Reserve in attaining the readiness levels required in the National Security Strategy by ensuring budget requirements reflected in the Resource Models are fully and accurately stated in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution process. • Assisted in the development of the budget cost factors from site visits data, this aided the Army Reserve in attaining a funding level of $824M for Fiscal Year 2009 an increase of $250M dollars.

Accountable for directing, and coordinating multi-year budgeting and planning process across several disciplines in order to ensure the U.S. Army Reserve maintained appropriate readiness standards and requirements as outlined in the National Security Strategy. Nuclear Weapons officer with Top Secret clearance. Responsibilities:• Managed the National Region Branch at the Pentagon, a focal point for major force readiness and resource issues affecting the Army Reserve.• Developed and implemented financial risk analysis models for schools, readiness, logistics, personnel and maintenance used in justifying budget requirements.• Prepared position papers, executive summaries, talking points, and other documents to senior Pentagon officials and Congressional sub-committees for funding justification concerning Army Reserve readiness.• Conducted a monthly, classified Strategic Readiness Update briefing to Army Leadership. Achievements:• Developed and coordinated future funding requirements totaling $43 billion over a seven year period allowing the Army Reserve to continue to meet future readiness needs.• Achieved an unprecedented 80% overall skill qualification level by reallocating resources and increasing educational allotments for subordinate commands.• Identified training readiness inhibitors and implemented strategies to resolve the readiness issues, requiring coordination of Army schools in the government and commercial resources.• Developed and executed strategies to resource train and mobilize 11 Major Subordinate Commands consisting of 205,000 personnel for the Global War on Terror. Special Weapons officer including tactical nuclear weapons and the deployment of those weapons. Charged with coordinating the budget development and expenditures forecast for the financial needs for Army Reserve’s training schools and provided justification for requests to senior Pentagon officials.
