I rose in ranks from Systems Programmer to Application Programmer to Project Manager to Independent Consultant by 1979. I then founded my first custom database software company in Los Angeles, Organized Information Corporation.My company focused on medium to large companies developing office automation and database applications using minicomputers and emerging PCs. After 11 years, in 1990, I sold that company to escape the LA smog and relocate to Denver and Colorado's Fourteeners. I founded Common Sense, Inc, aka Access Technologies, Inc, also a custom database software development company, also focusing on medium to large companies.In 2000, I sold it to begin a teaching career. I taught as an Adjunct Professor in Denver for three years then inner city high school math for in Philadelphia for five. In 2008 I returned to Colorado and taught a combination of high school math and as an Adjunct Professor. In 2010, I returned to teach computer science and I introductory math at the college level until December, 2021.Starting in October, 2021, I began focusing on Technical Writing.
