Set up an operations management system to benchmark and improve upon current operations across all project baselines.• Evaluated current well design and engineering to propose changes and establish procedures in order to improve operational efficiency and integrity standards. • Supported client with well design, drilling issues and general drilling optimization recommendations for offshore wells located in a highly fractured carbonate reservoir to 8,000mts with heavy losses, H2S and stuck pipe issues using Landmark software suite including WellCat. Implemented recommendations reduced NPT by 10% and improved engineering team response time on well design changes.• Recommended, designed and implemented massive drilling fluid losses control strategies in brownfield environment with very low formation pressures in sour offshore fields with poor logistics support improving fluid logistics for offshore platforms reducing rig downtime due to waits.• Optimized solutions for hole cleaning and stability issues in a procedure-light environment. The recommendations were based on multi-iteration hydraulic and broom-stick torque and drag models calibrating with operational data feedback to predict and reduce stuck pipe, lost-in-hole issues and improve flat times.• Overall cost and non-productive time reduction strategies in support of a sustainable reservoir management program through continuous operational benchmarking to identify NPT and invisible lost time.
