David is the Founder and Managing Director of Kyte Group. David started his career in the City on the London Stock Exchange. He was a founder trader on the London International Financial Futures and Exchange (LIFFE) and in 1985 was one of the first locals to set up as an independent trader. Soon after as the company grew so Kyte Group was established. Between 1990 and 1997; he served as a LIFFE board member, elected on 3 separate occasions. David is passionate, committed and innovative in every endeavour, whether in professional or community life. He makes quick, no-nonsense decisions and as an angel investor, he is always looking to back business startups and existing ventures on fair terms. David is happy to assist with growth as well as bring experience and knowledge to enable the company to achieve success. Whilst his career has predominantly been in the world of finance and asset management, David has always invested in the property market over the years. David also takes a wider view on the economics and demands of an ever-changing world and the investment opportunities that arise in both traditional and new areas. David’s philanthropic interests are primarily based in the youth sector with sport, health, education, disadvantage and disability at the core. Through the Kyte Charitable Trust, David is passionate about supporting and enhancing opportunities across society. As well as awarding grants through the Trust, David is a trustee and patron to a number of leading charities across the UK and beyond.Today he is recognised in equal measure as one the most successful traders in the City and for his dedication to charitable causes.
