Motivated by a deep-rooted passion for driving positive change, I returned to school to complete my bachelor’s degree, determined to transition into a career focused on service and social impact. My capstone project, Breaking Barriers: Addressing Racial Inequities in Philanthropic Grantmaking, further strengthened my commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable community, shaping my perspective on systemic change.This journey has taken me through a range of roles where I’ve honed skills in communication, relationship-building, and research and analysis. In my current role with Congresswoman Slotkin's office, I lead the notes and commendations program, help organize community events, support high-priority constituent services, and ensure timely dissemination of vital federal resources. Previously, I contributed to the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation’s mission by researching and presenting grant recommendations to enhance public safety through community engagement.My experience also extends to the corporate sector, where I spent several years mentoring others, developing and delivering training programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to address organizational needs. Each role has reinforced my adaptability, problem-solving skills, and commitment to providing solutions and serving clients with respect and empathy.Whether volunteering, authoring heartfelt commendations, or engaging the community, my dedication to ensuring others feel seen, listened to, and supported remains at the heart of my work. I’m excited to connect with others who share a vision for creating a better future through public service, social responsibility, and policy.
