I am a self-motivated leader with over twenty years of experience in ecological research focused on conservation of endangered species and identification of important habitat for migrating birds. Throughout my career I have helped organizations develop strategic plans for species and habitat conservation. I have managed teams of field researchers to meet project goals and deadlines and developed and implemented project and team budgets. I am a natural teacher who has developed and delivered educational and instructional material to 1000s of learners, from ages five to ninety five. One of my greatest strengths is using my personal and social networking skills to bring diverse individuals together to work towards a common goal. This strength is largely due to my experience working across a variety of disciplines: conservation, education, research and policy.
