Promoted to Corporate Headquarters, reporting to Senior VP, to lead multiple plant teams managing turnarounds in the range of $10MM – $100MM at Chevron Phillips Chemical’s US Plants. Duties included:- leading the development and optimization of a corporate-level, multi-phase turnaround management process used to ensure use of best practices, perform long-range event planning with Business and Plant Management,- institutionalize turnaround planning and execution, and perform optimal work scope. - responsible for providing senior company and plant management guidance on industry maintenance and turnaround best practices and trends- providing consulting, managerial tools, training and mentoring for turnarounds at the Company’s overseas plants in Europe and the Middle East,- providing guidance for international plants on maintenance practices and procedures. Also Led CPChem’s Maintenance and Reliability Best Practice Improvement Team. Started initiatives to develop long-term contracting strategies with key contractors, standardize turnaround work planning and scheduling processes, improve turnaround readiness assessments, recruited contract personnel to form core competency for planning, scheduling, and field leadership, and develop better training for executive steering and core execution team members.
