I'm a puzzle solver at heart. One of the things I love most about being in the software engineering position is the privilege of solving people's problems, then taking a step back and admiring the many pieces and the beauty of the code that goes into it. I love how we can take some components from open source, mash it with 3rd party services, and deploy it to a cloud computing resource, and sprinkle in a few data transformations, wire them up, and come up with solutions to solve real life problems in a unique way. I like building things, and I like seeing how the things I build change people's lives. I feel engineering is an art form where we express in code.
