In grammar school, I was the kid that set up the projector. In high school I was the youngest intern at a local cable channel. In college I was the first intern at our production studio. I have worked in production my entire life and have gotten pretty good at it. I enjoy challenging, one-off productions like building a 3D rig from scratch to wear doing extreme skiing (long before GoPros) or custom integration for a ship-board control center for the BBC. My value add is the ability to work with producers, directors and clients to ensure a project has been looked at from all angles. I'm comfortable wearing different hats and can smoothly transition from big picture to eye-watering detail as needed. I have done a significant amount of international production and learning to work across cultural and language barriers has been very rewarding.
