617 Squadron Raf Marham

Running the day to day back office jobs on a busy front line fast jet squadron. Dealing with quality issues and managing projects to improve the general workings of the sqn.

3 Sqn Raf Coningsby

Senior Corporal on the avionics desk. Carrying out scheduled maintenance as well as ad-hoc fault diagnosis to return aircraft to the flying programme. Other duties of deputising the management of the Avionics desk when based at home and on Operations.

5 Sqn Raf Waddington

Running the full office for the fleet and controlling the standards of all airworthiness documents for the Sentinel fleet. The job also included organising the document side of the sqn on retirement of the fleet and working with outside agencies to implement these actions.

Typhoon Training Facility Raf Coningsby

Instructor for the avionics aspect of the school. Subjects included the attack and identity systems, Communication systems as well as helping create the interdictory aspect of the course as well as the line personnel course run by the school. Teaching carried out in both classrooms and on aircraft.

41 Tes Raf Coningsby

Supervisor role for the testing and evaluation of hardware and software updates on both Tornado GR4 and Harrier GR9 aircraft. Involved in the process from embodying modifications to testing and fault finding on aircraft. Also spent 18 months teaching line procedures for both aircraft to new members of the squadron.

Tiald And Laser Bay Raf Marham

Producer for TAILD pods for both at home and operational deployments. Worked for multiple fast jets including multi fleet detachments using a knowledge of both the pod and how the aircraft interacted with them to diagnose faults. Also later worked with DJRP and RAPTOR pods including working with the squadrons based at Marham to give full on sqn support for RAPTOR pods.
