As both a Leadership and Technology manager, I believe it is important to continuously learn diverse skills for the knowledge and credibility required to lead. It is essential to realize that technology is often the easiest part of the solution: understanding organizational and people complexities is often the hardest.I take deep joy in creation of new things regardless of whether the task is technical or non-technical. My managerial style is grounded in the principal of "tell-it-like-it-is" and the reduction of complex problems to solvable pieces.My activities include electronics, software, creative writing, music, baking and woodworking: sometimes in combination.
