Senior Tax Manager at Global Operations leading Tax Compliance and accounting for GE companies located in Latam Region. This position includes assure the correct compliance and tax accounting around the region for each entity, US tax reporting, Local and US Deferred tax calculation, ETR analysis, RTA, among other responsabilities.Other roles I am responsible of, includes:•Develop strong relationship between Finance and Tax teams, as well as with Global Tax Controllers of each biz.•Develop strong relationship between the entities and external auditors.•Explanations and close communication with Tax and Finance partners in the entities.•Tracking of the tax cycle and tax account reconciliations

Tax accountant at NMHG Mexico. This company is a Maquila Operation. Lead the tax compliance in order to avoid any possible risk; recover VAT from tax authorities. My responsibilities includes file anticipated tax payments of Income tax, VAT, IETU, withholdings, statistical annual reports, annual returns, among others; support in accounting preparing Financial Statements for KPMG and US reports.Other roles I am responsible of, includes:• Calculate and Review Financial Projections and budgets• Prepare and review Deferred Tax for Mexican GAAP (D4) as well as for US GAAP (FAS109).• Review and file Tax Certifications, creating a good relationship between the entity and KPMG.• Support and supervised organizing physical assets inventory, in order to have an efficient and control fixed assets accounting

Started working as Tax Staff Analyst, achieving the role of Senior Tax Analyst in 2 years. The functions I performed includes auditing and reviewing tax calculations, such as anticipated payments of Income tax, Assets tax, VAT, annual returns, filling tax certifications, reviewing information to recover VAT from tax authorities.
