David Larsen serves as General Manager and Managing Partner of Affinity Inn and Resorts. The Hotel Group develops and operates the proprietary hotel brands of Affinity, Arlington Suites, Carefree Inn®, Galleria Palms, Fresh Air Inns and Emerald Palms Resorts. Affinity is wholly owned by HMS Corporation which also controls a Global Reservation System called Hotel Resevations Rus.com® Previously David was the Regional Vice President of Cendant (Wyndham) Corporation®, one of the largest Hospitality Corporations in the World. David was awarded Regional Vice President of the Year four years, and Development Director of the Year three years. His responsibilities included new hotel development and franchise attainment for three national hotel brands . David began his career working for Hungry Tiger Restaurants® a division of Flying Tiger Airlines®. He later migrated to hotels working for John Q Hammond and Flautt and Mann Properties. The Hotels he directed have earned him and the hotels many industry awards including: National Restaurant Association’s Most Valuable Promotion Award (MVP Award), Holiday Inn Touché Bearer Top 10, 20, 50 and 100 and GM of the Year. A Renaissance hotel David operated as General Manager was also awarded hotel of the year. In the early 1990s David branched out into real estate ownership and was part of a newly formed partnership that redeveloped the Sheraton Riverfront Hotel in Downtown Montgomery Alabama.In 1994 David became Managing Director of Operations for the Nation of Ho Chunk Nation Hotels and Casinos located in the State of Wisconsin. David managed a portfolio including Hotels, the Madison Casino, and Wisconsin Dell Timeshares for the Tribe of HO Chunk in Madison WI. Subsequently hotels, casinos, high energy night clubs, and food operations under his direct supervision have attained incredible profits with high yields. David is also a commercial Real Estate Agent specializing ithe Hospitality Industry.
