I am currently a Lecturer in Media Foundation at the University of East London with interests in photography, filmmaking, social media, and media theory. I have previously taught on the BTEC and UAL Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma course in Creative Media Production and Technology: Film & Television at Uxbridge College. Within this role, I was a director of the UAL Level 3 Diploma course covering all aspects of initiation, planning, delivery, examination, and review. My course was rated internally as ‘outstanding’ with excellent levels of success, achievement, retention, and high grades.In 2016, I setup my own production company, 'Straw Cat Productions', aimed at helping young people to gain work experience on independent productions. I work as writer, director, and producer on independent short films which are supported by film and TV professionals, actors, and young people (16-19+) who are looking to develop their industry experience.
