• Managing projects that assist in implementing the governments industry strategy and delivery of associated initiatives with the primary responsibility for service delivery to the advanced manufacturing and defence.
• Develop and maintain over time a network of relationships at a high level across industry and government relevant to the defence sector.
• Provide direct support to the Defence Advocate position as required.
• Ensure a high level of client engagement and be able to provide accurate and timely advice to government on the sector.
• Proactively initiate and provide high level strategic advice on the defence sector in the development, implementation and review of industry development strategies, policies, programs, plans and projects.
• Build a portfolio of clients and maintain high level professional business relationships working directly with the owners and managers of these businesses and other key stakeholders.
