I'm a behavioural ecologist specializing in plant-pollinator interactions and animal behaviour. My research delves into complex floral signals, multimodal communication, and the effects of rain and wind on plant-pollinator interactions. As a teaching focussed lecturer at the University of Bristol, and school lead for inclusive and accessible education, my pedagogical projects frequently intersect with equity, diversity and inclusion. I’m interested in decolonising biological sciences, inclusive assessment, enhancing student experience and support and understanding the experience of disabled students in STEM subjects. Current projects• Decolonising the Biological Sciences • Implementing and embedding inclusive assessment approaches in undergraduate courses.• Embedding EDI into the undergraduate curriculum• The effects of wind and rain on plant-pollinator interactionsPlease drop me a line if you’d like to chat.
