As a Series Planning Engineer, I updated and manage process documentation including work instructions, PFMEA's and Control Plans. I led the lean transformation within the Paint department to deliver continuous process and quality improvements for the bespoke painting processes.

I have completed the Graduate Scheme at Bentley Motors working on 3 major projects.1. Lead Engineer working through the commissioning phase and production ramp up of a new Plastic Parts Painting Facility. Placement Student in Paint Operations, focused on managing vibration exposure for colleagues and developing new and existing processes in order to minimise this exposure. I was required to learn about vibration measurement and develop the testing procedures for accurate results and analysis. It also helped me to understand how to assess the quality implications of introducing or changing processes.

I assisted with the development of Hilti’s hand arm vibration programme, producing detailed Microsoft Excel test reports for customers. During this time I developed a good understanding of the company’s power tools, basic lab testing procedures and development, the importance of calibration and how test results are affected by external factors.
