Complete project management and engineering responsibilities including scheduling, budgeting, implementation, and customer relations.Project Manager and lead programmer for fully automated dynamic robot palletizing and unit load handling system for ValPak. Custom php/apache/mySQL solution with Delphi background event driven programming. System receives data from SAP and determines best pallet build solutions. System provides complete tracking via barcode scans and sends verification data to SAP and warehouse management systems. Multiple integrations with ASRS, Print and Apply units, robots, palletizers (including dynamic build algorithm), and manual operation stations.Developed hardware and software engineering standards and development automation tools, reducing engineering/development requirements by half for standard projects.Developed Visual Basic user and logging interface for Lear Automotive Group seatbelt bolt tightening fixtures. The system requires satisfactory tightening before seat can ship. All tightening data is centrally stored for safety audits.Architect and deployment of batch management system at White Lily Foods. This system enables the corporate AS/400 server to communicate with plant floor hardware, allowing strict recipe control and real time production status. Designed and implemented MS Access based syrup-blending and batching software for an Atlanta-based beverage company. Based on the success of the initial project, four additional plants have been retrofitted with the same design.

Worked independently on non-standard control software projects directly under company vice-presidentProgrammed fiber-cement board forming system for James Hardie, including custom serial interfacing to scale controllers, thickness gauges, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) to enable greater production control and increased consistency of product.Reprogrammed assembly line sequence control to reduce vehicle routing errors at GM Doraville. By using more efficient and robust code, errors were reduced from 2 per hour to 1 per month.Responsible for designing, programming and testing more than sixty industrial user interfaces for General Motors Shreveport installation.Updated production shift schedule system for GM Truck division. Visual Basic and MS SQL Server based system allowed for shift and break scheduling and sent data to plant floor annunciators.Modernization project updating programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Utilized Excel formulas and VBA macros to complete program conversions in half the time originally expected.
