As the Co-Founder and CEO of Revopp, along with incredible teammates we created a company with a very clear purpose; to help and support UK companies and Universities access and unlock the vast Contract and R&D opportunities available from the US Government. Revopp is a unique and powerful suite of tools powered by live data & experience to transform growth & export sales by helping businesses access massive opportunities and become a vendor to the United States Federal Government. The same tools are utilized to work with Universities source R&D Grants and the opportunity to collaborate with the various branches of the US Federal Government.My experience includes taking a Scottish SME Aerospace MRO company on the journey to the USA market with the ambitious objective of building a customer base to include the US Government. Some said, “your company is too small to compete with the big guys, and you’re not even based in the US”. We had a different mind-set, vision, and determination, and with that we became a supplier to the US Federal Government. I’ve helped other SMEs from a diverse group of sectors hone their proposition and approach to the US market, leading to sales growth through securing new business with public and private entities. Some examples include creating a collaboration with Boeing to be a Proof of Concept / Test Partner for a Scottish based company, lead a well-established business through the complex process of becoming an approved vendor to the U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command and United States Air Force, developed a collaboration and negotiated agreements for a California based business to sell products to CNPC (Fortune 500 Company), and helped another secure Universal Studios - Los Angeles as a customer. -
