These businesses are importers and distributors of leading construction machinery brands, while also managing after sales servicing through a nationwide servicing network. NEL and PPS together held the exclusive distribution rights for the world leading Japanese Takeuchi brand of excavator and tracked skid-steer loaders, U.K. Selwood Pumps and Spanish Himoinsa static generators. The company had exclusive rights to New Zealand and the Pacific Islands in respect of sales.- In October 2009 took over the sole distribution for Wacker Euson In New Zealand.· Achievements – opened South Island facility, started a nationwide distributor and service network to position Takeuchi as the first choice and number one for mini excavator sales. - Achieved a 100% safety record. - Repositioned the business to successfully negotiate the GFC.

Cable Price is the only authorised dealer for Hitachi Construction Machinery, Scania Trucks & Buses and John Deere Construction & Forestry Equipment in the country, and actively support the construction, forestry, transport, agriculture, quarry & aggregate, mining and demolition industries of New Zealand.· Achievements –Successfully developed the Scania bus market ultimately winning Ritchie coach lines. Additionally, repositioned the Scania brand to attract a broader market, and broadened the geographic footprint for Hitachi ground engaging equipment.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, had an autonomous management role with prime accountability to create a specialist materials handling equipment distribution company (Liftec) taking over the major shareholders agency lines and securing those agencies that were to be stripped due to losses of up to 60% market share.- Company shareholder- Sold to the Hellaby Group · Achievements – founded and built up the company which, due to its success and profitability over a three year period was purchased by the Hellaby Group in February 2003.

In the capacity of Divisional Manager, reported to the Chief Executive. Started the Axle, Wheel and Suspension Division (truck & trailer running gear) as a stand-alone business unit.· Achievements – led a nationwide distributor network and company sales team providing sales and technical training and developed marketing strategies that collectively grew the business and exceeded all sales and profit expectations year on year. Introduced SAF to New Zealand market, and took the drum brake axle to number one. Also introduced the first disc braked axle to the market that has now become an industry standard. Established BPW as market leader industry standard, who later entered the New Zealand market independently, at which time we introduced Roth Erde going head to head and taking the market back.
