Business Development Consultant at Bok Seng Group David is proud to have dedicated over 29 years in service in the Singapore Armed Forces – Republic of Singapore Navy as a Naval Officer. David has been privileged to benefit from the variety of developmental and exposure opportunities in the SAF. He graduated with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University; was trained in Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth UK and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Business Management. David is also the top graduate of the Singapore Command and Staff Course in 2001. David has more than 10 years of experience in the SAF Yacht Club Management Committee and Executive Committee and has served as Rear Commodore and Captain of Power. He has also written a book entitled “Powered Pleasure Craft Driving Licence Handbook” and is being used as a teaching material by several marinas in conducting the PPCDL course. Have extensive experience in strategy and policy formulation, operational planning and overseeing large-scale events/projects. David was the Deputy Organising Chairman for four International Maritime Defence Exhibition Asia (IMDEX Asia) in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015 and also involved in organising the inaugural Summer Youth Olympic 2010 in Singapore as the Head of Naval Participation. Possess excellent organisational skills, coupled with an ability to create highly engaged workforce. He is a strong believer in innovative and creative methods of value adding to society through incubating ideas, assembling resources and making things happen. A consummate professional with entrepreneurial skills, a passion for developing new businesses, executing turnaround strategies and realigning businesses for sustainable profitable growth.
