As a director in the PricewaterhouseCoopers Deals team based in Auckland I am an expert advisor for the sale and purchase of businesses; I have led or had a significant role in numerous M&A transactions. These transactions have been as buy side or sell side advisor for corporate clients, financial investors and sovereign wealth funds and across a wide range of industries. I have worked in a great deal of geographies including New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, USA, China, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, India, Holland, Kuwait, France, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, Serbia and Ukraine.I mostly lead financial and commercial due diligence projects but also perform corporate finance and other financial advisory roles as required. I have a specific area of expertise in the examination, and negotiation, of the terms and conditions of Sale and Purchase Agreements with a focus on the accounting aspects of purchase price adjustment mechanisms and earn-out arrangements.I also have general management responsibilities including business development, management of resources and strategic direction; I am a member of PwC’s Transaction Services leadership team in New Zealand.
