Designed and developed the new Kobe City JET website (KobeJET.com) using Drupal as an intuitive living and teaching resource and operations platform, for use in English and Japanese by over 125 participating foreign teachers accepted from 44 English-speaking countries, the Kobe City Board of Education, and thousands of non-JET Language and International Studies educators.Coordinated with multiple involved groups to fulfill their needs for a multi-role secure framework, school and teacher directories, event and registration workflows, and a site-wide ticketing system.Optimized the site with caching, priority loading, responsive image styles, and breakpoints to allow media-rich content to be loaded quickly and reliably on both desktop and mobile systems.Conducted IT-based lessons and workshops for groups ranging from elementary through high school classes to groups of over 200 language teachers and administrative personnel, on topics including basic English communication practice, presentation skills and tools, and website and CMS design.
