Created and administrated the patching and installation services responsible for the distribution and version upkeep of an enterprise level online multiplayer game to over one million users. Customized patching services in the form of a Javascript/HTML/CSS frontend and C backend constituting over thirty distinct instances across five code branches, three functional types, and two operating systems. Implemented inter-operative functionality using JSON as a transport language to a DYLIB in OSX and a DLL in Windows so that the Javascript based patcher could be used to make system level calls. Architected, constructed, and integrated installer systems using Java with Install Anywhere for cloud based distribution in the USA and Japan, the game website, and a physical disk installer. Designed and implemented automated Anthill Pro build systems for the patcher self update system, as well as administration and troubleshooting of game builds as they relate to patch creation. Invented and coded three tools in C++ using the Win32 API for Windows and one utilizing Objective C in Cocoa for OSX Two utilities distributed within the launcher which serve as the first line diagnostic for customer service calls from users on both Windows and OSX. Output from these tools include network path to distribution servers, logs, system specifications, elevation level, and driver versions for compatibility troubleshooting. Network operations tool used by the live and operations teams to validate versioning of the game as live updates occur to two public environments. Marketing mailer list creation application allowing for automated filtering of user data from a back end SQL database based on selected customer criteria. Authored Python scripts for quality-of-life improvements within the company. Per-build script which detects broken or missing pieces in game builds and alerts the operations center. Live environment source backup script which archives each customer facing update.

Created the Ruby on Rails and then Groovy on Rails framework for user account creation and modification. This functioned as the test account system during early development of the game. Designed and coded a basic account permissions system allowing for different types of users and game environments. Unified the game and web account systems to allow proper login flow.

Authored server monitoring utilities for automated error notification during outages.
