First as a licensed builder/remodeled and then as a building materials salesman for select building materials suppliers. During my last several years at Acme I was fortunate to be associated with Ed Wenz of Contractors Training Institute and Lead Renovator Training LLC. I have learned how to educate and train contractors on OSHA construction Safety requirements as well as the Hud and EPA RRP lead renovator requirements for certifications. I've received my credentials from HUD, OSHA and the EPA. After retiring I am teaching part time for Ed's' company as a paid consultant as well as doing county rehab inspections. I also am doing consulting work and inspections for Habitat for Humanity. Another wish I've had is to open my own consulting business both here and in South Carolina aiding contractors on project specifications and product options. I've opened Construction and Safety Consultants LLC. and look forward to helping educate as many contractors in Michigan and in South Carolina and/or add to their upcoming projects with my expertise as I can.
