I was responsible for the SAR-driven design, synthesis and characterization of various ion-channel inhibitors used for biological evaluation in the treatment of heart diseases and other conditions.As part of this effort, I interacted with various teams ranging from bioanalytical chemistry, electrophysiology, in vivo biology to intellectual property. Contributor and reviewer to 3 unfiled patents.

During my short tenure at the CDRD, I was involved in two projects which aimed at treating diabetes and Huntington's disease. I designed and synthesized over 100 compounds and thus contributed to a milestone achievement.

As a postdoctoral fellow, I was part of a team in charge of the elaboration of novel classes of fungicides, from their design, their synthesis to the elaboration of an SAR analysis. In this endeavour I interacted with multidisciplinary teams ranging from computer assisted molecular chemists to biochemists and biologists. Key contributor to 2 World Patents.
