CHI is a not for profit initiative established in the late 1980's to acquire, own and operate multi-family affordable housing for residents in the greater Dallas area. CHI has nearly 1,000 units in service and, more recently, launched a permanent housing initiative known as St. Judes in coordination with Catholic Charities of Dallas. This program now features three project offering nearly 400 well apointed studio apartments. CHI is also serving as developer for 90 single family homes in southern Dallas built on tax-lien lot offered by the City of Dallas.

Retained by DART Board of Directors to serve as interim CEO during formal recruitment for the permanent replacement to the previous long time incumbent, Gary Thomas. During the interim period, in addition to the normal executive duties associated with the position, it fell upon me to address the technology issues identified during a record-breaking severe cold winter weather event in February, oversee the restructuring of program management and a $600 million funding increase for the 26 mile Silver Line commuter rail project currently under construction , mobilize a task force to oversee implementation of the DART Zoom bus network redesign scheduled for introduction in January, 2022, shepard the development and submission of the $1.6 Billion draft of the FY 2022 Budget and long range financial plan and coordinate the DART return to work plan, including reintroduction of live Board meeting with public attendance in September of 2021. The Board approved the DART Zoom plan in August, 2021 and approved the FY 2022 Budget in the first meeting in September, 2021.

Position oversees Business Solutions group within DART, including Procurement, IT, Marketing and Financial functions (treasury, risk management, budget, accounting, long range fiscal planning) for agency. Executive sponsor for smartphone mobile ticketing initiative and account-based comprehensive fare payment system that will be fully deployed by 2018.
