I am currently sailing at the capacity of 2nd engineer on an Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel being used for emergency salvage. I have recent experience on a highly modern diesel electric platform supply vessel. This is A DP2 vessel equipped with 3 variable speed bow thrusters and azipod propulsion. Previous vessels and operations include:Platform Supply Vessels, Anchor Handling Tug Supply, Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels, Saturation diving, ROV survey, Subsea construction, Passenger Ferries, Product Tankers.Roles and responsibilities:Maintaining vessel in fully operational condition, planned and non planned maintenance, UMS and manned engine room watches, training of subordinates, delegating tasks to engine room crew and supervising shore based workers during dry dock periods, performing work based risk assessments, Use of LOTO and permit to work systems, writing job reports and ensuring chief engineer is up to date with systems' status.
