Led the weekly PDTs with supplier, Purchasing, Validation, Quality, and Engineering.• Steered a cost-savings initiative with GM, purchasing $550K in cost reductions for HD Exhaust System.GM Performance Engineer/Integration Engineer/Global Mass, Design Release Engineer DRE 2009 - 2013• Led the Global Mass Product Council from 2009 to 2012 in support of mass efficient BOM rows. Led to mass reductions and fuel economy improvements.• Bumper/Fascia/wheel house liner design release engineer DRE (2001-2005).ADDITIONAL RELEVANT EXPERIENCE• Heavy Duty Suburban for the U.S. Government – modified chassis to support an armor upfitted version of this Chevy SUV. Developed ballast cages to simulate armor mass and CG.• Launches include: 2005 Armored Cadillac DTS working with Scaletta Armoring to support the assembly and validation of this product.• Weekly interface with R&D for new advance tech work concepts.• Received a Defensive Publication recognition for the development of new illuminated sill plates.• Was awarded a Chairman’s Award for cost savings initiatives on blow molded spoilers.• Validation Engineering (GM) – Development and execution of DVP&R.
