I litigated insurance bad faith and coverage actions, business disputes, and personal injury and employment cases for a variety of individual and corporate clients for 25 years. Along the way, I earned an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell and enjoyed practicing with some of the most talented and respected trial attorneys in Seattle.In my mediation practice, I have helped parties resolve personal injury, attorney malpractice, and employment discrimination claims; insurance coverage and bad faith actions; and business disputes. I have extensive experience litigating and have also mediated claims involving life and disability insurance disputes (both ERISA and non-ERISA).

I defend and prosecute civil cases in federal and state court. I have experience handling personal injury and wrongful death actions, business, insurance coverage litigation, insurance fraud and bad faith cases, ERISA actions, and consumer credit card disputes under the Truth in Lending Act. In addition to my litigation practice, I enjoy serving as a mediator.

Practice emphasizes the representation of clients in disputes involving insurance coverage, employment, product liability, torts, contracts and consumer protection issues. Litigation experience includes claims involving consumer credit card disputes under the Truth in Lending Act (including issues involving identity theft); life, health and disability insurance coverage (including disputes under ERISA); wrongful discharge; medical devices; construction defects; personal injury; property insurance coverage; and insurance bad faith (including alleged violations of Washington's Consumer Protection Act). Practice also includes serving as an arbitrator and mediator in a variety of substantive areas including insurance coverage disputes, tort claims, attorney malpractice, and breach of contract cases.
