Responsible for working with EQT Production's Drilling Department to help ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, rules, policies and procedures. This is accomplished by assisting the Drilling Department in establishing environmental practices, communicating with contractors associated with the site preparation, drilling and completion activities, conducting training and auditing as appropriate, and helping to ensure compliance by compliance through observations and inspections.• Assist the Drilling Department in the development of practices and procedures focused on environmental protection and regulatory compliance;• Assist the drilling department and contractors in the identification of environmental exposures and assist in the development and implementation of appropriate countermeasures; • Conduct frequent site visits to drilling locations at the various stages of operation to perform inspections, interact with EPC personnel and contractors, and help ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, rules, policies and procedures;• Conduct awareness sessions and training, exchange information, and keep all contractors abreast of their environmental performance, program or policy changes; and• Collect and track statistics, including environmental performance, prepare reports as appropriate.
