Consulting experience:- Experience of working on finance transformation projects for FTSE 100 insurance clients, including reviews of financial close processes and reporting requirements including Solvency II Pillar 3- Designed a Chart of Accounts for a large UK life insurer in preparation for transition on to a new general ledger- Designed Solvency II quarterly and annual reporting processes for a FTSE 100 insurer- Managed the process mapping of a large UK insurer including production of desktop procedures in preparation for outsourcing- Involved in the delivery of a fast close project to a FTSE 100 life insurerAudit experience:- Responsible for managing audits and client relationships for a portfolio of clients in the insurance sector- Managing audit teams including managing audit input from specialist departments including tax, IT advisory, actuarial and regulatory- Experience of clients reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP- Identification of controls weaknesses in clients systems- SOX controls reviews Other experience:- Extensive experience of performing recruitment interviews- Delivery of training sessions
