Working in partnership with a National Housing Association, Responsible for overall management of the Repairs & Maintenance and Voids Contract for the company. I have overall responsibility for manage approximately 110 staff (Trades staff, Supervisors’ and office staff)Knowledge and attributes linked to role are;Contract value is circa £8 million per.

• Position Held – Lead PlannerMears is a rapid response and planned maintenance services to Local Authorities and registered Social Landlords. The Mears branch I am located at covers the whole of the borough of Gateshead.
• Managing Financial budgets
• Overseeing the performance of various department and functions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislations (scaffold, asbestos etc)
• Developing business processes and procedures to make them more efficient
• Creating an operating environment that assures consistently high performance

• Manage and responsible for 16 members of the Planning Department including the delivery of KPI objectives and targets. Provide accurate forecasting and reports to evaluate the scheduling and monitoring of.
• Successfully managed planning operation providing in excess of £4 Million revenue per calendar month
• Successfully trained the Installation planners improving their competency in completing the daily requirements of their jobs
• Introduced our business to a key customer resulting in large scale, profitable work streams
• Managed the integration of new business which required huge development and re-organization of current processes and time management
• Headed up major project for six months to review all material spends, vehicle hires and labour availability to coincide with current work pipeline – Reported results to Management board to review current business.
