For example, they include (but not limited to) Engine Nacelles (ATA chapter 54, 78) Actuation systems, Interiors (ATA 25), Cargo Handling (ATA 50), Lightings (ATA 33), Sensors (ATA 23, 26, 27, 28, 30, 34, 52), Landing Gear (ATA 32), Air Conditioning (ATA 21), Pneumatics (ATA 36) and Electrical Power (ATA 24).Other field service support includes on-site AOG support, aircraft troubleshooting and recovery, equipment readiness to product failure analysis, customer training, spares and asset readiness management.

Other field service support includes AOG support, familiarization training on nacelle structure, thrust reverser rigging, and Quick-Engine-Change (QEC).Went on overseas posting in 3Q2010 to Seattle Washington USA at Boeing headquarters to provide technical support for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner Flight Tests. An example of operating independently in a complex environment.In 3Q2009 was involved in an ad-hoc immediate on-site response for an AOG situation, at the aircraft’s location in Jakarta Indonesia. Working under pressure and having problem-solving skills with a never-say-die attitude was vital to its success.As a Project Manager leading a team of OEM Field Service Representatives, was on-site in India for 1.5 months in 3Q2012 to support Air India for Boeing 787 Entry-Into-Service (EIS).Represented company on-site in China 3Q2013 to support Hainan Airlines in Boeing 787 EIS operations.

Carried out in-depth analyses to ascertain viability of business venture of commercial aircraft Passenger-To-Freighter (PTF) conversions. This included profit and loss calculations, cost considerations, non-recurring engineering, touch labour, time and material, production/conversion lines, airworthiness, cargo loading system, etc. Drafted and negotiated commercial contracts, proposals and quotations with existing and potential customers, tailored to their needs. Followed-up with PTF program/project/vendor management and engineering support.Played an integral role in the team that resulted in the award of the 757-200 PTF conversion contract by Federal Express (FedEx) on January 18, 2007 consisting of 87 airplanes.Went on overseas posting in 2Q2007 to Mobile Alabama USA to oversee, manage and expedite procurement of airplane conversion parts (project management, vendor management).At Singapore Airshow 2008, was the Staff Officer to President & CEO, Singapore Technologies Engineering (parent company of Singapore Technologies Aerospace).

Developed and delivered business plan volume and gross margin targets through sales of piece part repair of the CFM56, V2500, CF6, PW4000 and JT8D engines.Categorised and prioritised existing customers (who were mainly engine MRO shops) such as Eagle Services ASIA, GE Wales, Snecma Morocco, SR Technics, Air France, KLM, as well as proactively searched for new customers and business opportunities.Other activities included credit/collection, customer service & demand, business management via internal process/system, invoicing and marketing, supply & logistics (INCOTERMS 2000), as well as SAP usage on a daily basis.

Represented the company as the sole mechanical engineer on-site at the customer’s operational base, responsible for maintaining a large fleet of mission-critical military transport aircraft (which is also used commercially in other countries), powered by the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW125B Turboprop engine.Conducted troubleshooting of all aircraft structures and systems that were non-electrical, including, but not limited to, aero gas turbine engine (ATA Chapter 72), fuselage (ATA Chapter 53), landing gears (ATA Chapter 32), flight control (ATA Chapter 27), fuel (ATA Chapter 28), and hydraulics (ATA Chapter 29). Formulated proposals and presented effective, viable solutions at very short notice to reduce aircraft downtime (for example, AOG) and increase aircraft operational readiness. This was accomplished most of the time independently, without support from HQ’s engineering department.Evaluated and recommended modifications from aircraft manufacturers and component vendors, as well as recommended changes to improve the performance and reliability of the aircraft. Ensured that airworthiness requirements were met at all times. Familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
