■ Calling on Prospective Clients■ Assisting Clients in establishing the design parameters and specifying the best solution for their requirements■ Evaluate tender documents, obtain quotations from sub-contractors, generate bill of materials, calculate costs and compile quotations■ Conduct pre-manufacturing meetings with clients, inspectors, draughtsmen and fabrication personnel.■ Produce design calculations for lower risk equipment, checking of professional engineer’s design calculations for higher risk equipment.■ Supervise and assist draughtsman to produce drawings for clients and workshops.■ Approval of drawings for construction and liaise with machine shop, sub-contractors and workshop staff■ Procure all materials and consumables for workshops■ Compile all quality documentation■ Assist in Fabrication including rolling of shells, sub-merged arc welding of shells & ends and semi-automatic welding of tube to tube sheet welding,■ Conduct inspections on machined and fabricated parts■ Supervise pressure testing, final inspections and release vessel to site■ Installation of equipment on site with use of cranes and rigging gear■ Installation of associated piping and equipment■ Supervision of Sub-Contractors■ Commissioning of pressure equipment with end users.
