I graduated in Spring 2013 from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a B.S. in psychology. I assisted in a variety of labs focused on the cognitive and personality fields of psychology. Since graduating, I have worked as a research assistant in the Center for Chronic Disease Outcomes Research (CCDOR) at the Minneapolis VA. I currently work as a project coordinator for Dr. Melissa Polusny, Ph.D. through the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities on the Readiness and Resilience in National Guard Soldier (RINGS) studies and will be pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology in 2017. My primary research interests are: *Affective Neuroscience*Etiology, treatment, and dispositional risk factors associated with internalizing disorders*Stress and its role in psychopathology*Big 5 personality traits (Specifically, the aspects and facets of trait Conscientiousness)*Intrinsic Motivation and Willpower*Psychology and neuroscience of meditation and mindfulness practice*Antisocial Personality Disorder and Psychopathy
