I attended Dringhouses CP School in York, followed by Ashfield SM in York. After school, I joined British Rail, and attended YCAT (York College of Arts and Technology), before going on to Leeds Metropolitan University (Leeds Polytechnic) to study for a B.Eng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering. Then on to Leeds College of Building for a course in Building Services, before going to Glasgow University to study Building Services on the GAITES Program.I worked for British Rail until 1995, where my last two Major Projects were Kings Cross Redevelopment and CrossRail.In 1995 I joined Halcrow Transmark, and worked on the KL PUTRA Project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.After that, I worked in Australia for a while, before joining Bombardier from March 2000 to July 2015.In July 2015 I joined Aecon and from July 2015 to Present I am currently the Chief Technical Officer for the Crosslinx JV Project Co on the Eglinton Crosstown Project where Crosslinx are responsible for Design, Construction, Maintenance and Rehabilitation of the Crosstown PPP Project.
