I am currently employed as a squadron commander at the Royal Military College of Canada. I perform administration for 85 students officer cadets from all 4 years of university. This administration includes change of programs requests, and occupational transfers. I also teach military classes to the students including leadership, drill, and military skills.

At the rank of Captain, I was employed as the Base Maintenance Officer for Canadian Forces Base Kingston. I led a mixed work force of 48 military and public servants. My team and I were responsible for over 1200 vehicles, hundreds of boats, weapons, and optics across 47 different units. Upon my positioning I lowered the vehicle of road rate, the primary key performance indicator from 43% down to 10% while following COVID-19 public health measures. I personally managed a budget of $1.2 million dollars in Fiscal Year 20/21 and $900,000 in Fiscal Year 21/22. I used SAP to review maintenance key performance indicators and financial statuses.

At the rank of Captain, I was deployed on OP REASSURANCE ROTO 20-01 as the Latvian Brigade Headquarters G4 Transport Officer. Once the COVID-19 pandemic started I was shifted over to working with the Canadian National Support Element as the Special Projects Officer. I worked directly for the commander planning and executing unique projects such as the establishment of a COVID-19 Isolation Camp and the set-up of the new state of the art camp gym.

At the rank of Captain, I worked as the Equipment Integration Combat Service Support Officer, for the Canadian Army Doctrine and Training Center (CADTC) Headquarters. I coordinated between different military organizations and the original equipment manufacturers ensuring the training of new equipment and capabilities was provided as per the contract. I conducted training quality checks for the Headquarters Shelter System and the Medium Support Vehicle Military Standard Pattern. I also assisted in the writing of Training Needs Analysis reports and Training Implementation Directives for the Commander CADTC.

At the rank of Lieutenant, I worked as a systems engineer for the Light Armoured Vehicle 6 Project Management Office. I reviewed technical documents including engineering drawings and contract change requests ensuring accuracy. I initiated the project to acquire battery chargers for the new fleet of vehicles which expanded to encompass many vehicles across several different teams. I also reviewed testing reports provided by the contractor for verification and validation.I also worked as a systems engineer for the Operational Clothing and Footwear Consolidated Contract, and the Non-Operational Clothing and Footwear Consolidated Contract Project Management Team. I created historical artifacts, reviewed technical data packages, and coordinated with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the creation of two new clothing contracts.

At the rank of Second Lieutenant and Lieutenant I worked for the Director of the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineer Corps creating communiques on his behalf to provide information to all members of the Corps. I managed his travel requests, a SharePoint site for the storage of new policies and procedures, and the Corps’ social media presence. I wrote briefs for senior officers and coordinated events and meetings. I also deployed on OP NANOOK 2016, a domestic operation to Nunavut.

At the rank of Officer Cadet at the Royal Military College of Canada I completed my academic studies while conducting military training. While in 3rd and 4th year I supervised and led younger students and performed the role of Cadet Wing Information Management Officer for a semester. My summers included conducting military training.
