His practice also includes Medicaid and special needs planning, and Article 81 guardianship proceedings, enabling clients to qualify for government benefits while preserving their assets. He has handled all aspects of estate administration, including probate, securing assets, overseeing the sale of local and out of state property, pursuing and defending claims on behalf of the estate and accounting proceedings.In addition, he has an extensive background in Surrogate’s Court litigation throughout New York receiving favorable decisions in will contest proceedings, turnover actions against fiduciaries and beneficiaries, judicial accountings and other estate proceedings. He also has over 20 years of experience handling commercial litigation in federal and state courts, including all aspects of trial and appellate work, in the areas of employment, real estate, contract and corporate law.
