I am a Partner in Brodies' Corporate Unit, with a particular focus on UK and cross-border business and share sales, private equity acquisitions/investments and joint ventures.I help clients ranging from individuals and start-ups to publicly traded companies and major institutions. I also advise companies and their directors on AIM IPOs and fundraisings, as well as company law and compliance generally. I have been seconded twice to the legal function of a global bank - including working in the in-house M&A team, co-ordinating external counsel and internal stakeholders on significant strategic transactions.I also teach Company and Commercial Law to post-graduate students on The University of Edinburgh's Diploma in Legal Practice.Brodies LLP offers clients the largest specialist legal resource in Scotland.
