AUD $90 MILLION - GREEN FIELD)I had served as the Senior Engineer for several telecommunication packages with the turn-key infrastructure project. I had held both the roles as the Lead Designer and Work Package Leader for multiple packages. My principal responsibilities included: • Subcontractor management & supplier engagement through serving as the prime interface between Ansaldo-STS and the Principal, subcontractors and infrastructure suppliers; engagement planning; risk identification & mitigation; schedule management to align with overall Project Plan; technical design review• Detailed Design & project delivery for a large range of telecommunication packages included IP Transmission Backbone over SDH/PDH, Ethernet IP and IP MPLS. Wireless technologies such as WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) and Microwave. Remote monitoring and asset management via Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Closed-Circuit Television CCTV surveillance and Network Management System (NMS).• Customer relationship management, performance reporting and reviews• Served as the key participant in technical reviews, design workshops and risk analysis. • Managed budget & cost, assist in progress payment claims and provided project progress reporting. • Developed test plan and test cases as part of the system verification assessment, led both factory testing and site acceptance testing activities. • Provisioned maintenance support, both on-site and remote support, during the defect and liability period & post commissioning phase.

Member of the Australian Postal service team in deploying 3000+ sites across the country, in both metropolitan and rural areas, serving as the lead designer in the data communication network. As Senior Designer worked with clients representing the top 100 companies within Australia in the design and deployment of communication network spanning Australia and overseas. Coordinated with Project Manager, Solution Architect, and Communication Technician & Network Engineer in process of design, procurement, installation, testing & commissioning as well as the delivery of technical support.Performed the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the national team and provisioned training to junior designers.

Member of the student Project Team that prepared a feasibility study behind the scheme to implement a consolidated telecommunication platform to provide video conferencing, mobile and telephony services to the whole of the State Government. Presented findings to the Heads of Department and Senior Management within the Western Australian State Government. Tabled report to the Honourable State Resource Minister, the document was later published and released to the W.A. State Government. Later developed a case study analysing the system integration hurdles, social-economic effects, financial cost savings, as well as technical dilemma when implementing the technology in a working call centre environment.
