Project Smile Global is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization aiming to combat oral health disparities worldwide through our worldwide chapters. We do outreach in underserved communities that struggle with gaining access to oral healthcare products by providing dental hygiene kits, oral health instruction, and holding community events.

- Worked alongside lab mentors to understand immune responses in heart and lung transplants- Performed various procedures including biopsies on incoming patient samples as well as working with beads and flow cytometry- Assist lab mentors in troubleshooting, revising, and improving experiments and protocols. - Organized and digitalized inventories of clinical samples

- Prescribed medications for patients, registered new patients into our dental office management software, checked eligibility of patients' insurance as well, and made appointments for patients. - Handle transactions between our office and patients as well as insurance companies.- Managed deliveries and pick-ups of patients' dentures, crowns, etc.- Kept the office clean by changing filters, sanitizing commonly touched surfaces, and waste disposal.

- Binez is an online marketplace to assist small brick-and-mortar stores in introducing their products online. - Enrolled 13 businesses to first test the viability of Binez and its potential. - Raised thousands of dollars in seed money to develop a minimum viable product

- Taught students on different reading strategies for the SHSAT (Specialized High School Admissions Test) and prepared them for the exam.- Mentored the students on how to navigate high school and created a safe environment for them to open up about how they want to succeed in their academic careers.

Researched various socioeconomic issues with other researchers at ISL. - Collaborated with dozens of other researchers on the expansion of healthcare facilities in Corona, Queens. - Researched the connection between race and exposure to air pollution in NYC.

- Learned how to make startups, MVPs, business models, and how to successfully make a business. - Collaborated with other co-founders to create a prototype startup aiming to help market small businesses. - Raised thousands of dollars in seed funding for said prototype startup.

Member of the Ambassador Team:- Revived unused social media accounts and started making content for them.- Reached out to high schools all across NYC to recruit new members.- Advertised our campaigns and highlighted various inspirational Asian Americans on Instagram.
